Art Nouveau Lamp
This Art Nouveau lamp shown above is an original creation, features a decorative finial and a lovely ornamental collar. The shade is a faux leather, in a bell shaped form. A custom decorative chain pull with brass chain adds a nice accent to this lamp. Finish & Materials...Trying to pick a finish can be tricky, but I wanted to add some color to highlight the ornamental work. The finial and collar are a medium dark red, applied with a sponge technique. The rest of the lamp has a textured black granite finish, with a satin clear coat for added protection. Materials...Everything is solid steel, the center of the lamp is 3/4 inch pipe, not tubing like most lamps, The base is 1/2 inch solid rod welded in an ornamental pattern. Also has a three way switch for adjustable light settings, 30/60/100 watt bulb, or 50/100/150 watt. This floor lamp would make a nice addition to your lighting needs, an original and durable Art Nouveau styled piece for your home.
